| SPEED PICK. UK patent - GB2300063 B There is a variety of guitar picks for lead and rhythm playing. The rhythm playing is mostly conducted with the thin picks that are made of different materials. These picks should be held with a thumb and an index finger. This makes it difficult to use other fingers during the performance. Moreover, in case of frequent and intensive usage these picks tend to break easily. The present invention, a ring-shaped pick (Fig.2) designed to be worn on a middle finger, completely releases one's hand and, as a result, enables one to use all the fingers or a conventional pick for a lead playing. Moreover, it's very flexible shaft makes it long-lasting. Finaly, this pick increases playing speed as much as three times. After adjusting the ring to the finger the palm should be contracted into a fist and the shaft will come into vertical position to the strings. To produce a continuos strumming one should swiftly move the shaft up and down the guitar strings (Fig.1. 1-2) WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! Do not use this pick on the guitars without a PICK GUARD! it can scratch the finish!. Alternatively strum on the neck region!.
